I'm a Gemini, thus my interests run wildly and my need to communicate ideas reflect as such. My love for preservation runs deep and embodies my way of living and learning. My mantra is to live, love and share for an eternity.
I have an affinity for vintage and antique clothing, accessories, furniture and home decor. I owned a vintage clothing boutique in Sanford, Florida called FRINGE VINTAGE and currently own an on-demand vintage clothing and prop rental business in Winchester, Virginia by the same name. I RENTauthentic costumes and props for photography shoots, themed parties and children's dress up parties, birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, weddings and corporate events. We specialize in Pin-up and Boudoir Photography Sessions and Styling.
In addition, I am greatly interested in the Arts and have spear-headed, organize and run the WAM! Winchester Art Market.
Furthermore, I have a 4 year college degree in Nutrition and Food Science. I believe whole-heartedly in the healing powers of food. This knowledge has been and will always be at the very core of my being. Upon moving to Winchester, Virginia, I recognized a need to connect people with local farmers who grew foods without the use of chemicals or pesticides. So in 2011, I began an online farmer's market that supported local Shenandoah Valley farmers called Shenadoah Valley Homegrown. In 2012, the market took a hiatus but still includes farm tours. I hope to, in the future, continue this forward momentum and continue to build a sustainable future in the landscape/foodscape around us.
In summary, it's all about preservation of culture and history!
